American Pest Acquires MosquitoXpress of Richmond, VA

American Pest— a subsidiary of Anticimex and US Capitol region’s premier pest management firm—acquires MosquitoXpress in the latest acquisition.

Fulton, MD, February 1, 2022—American Pest, Washington DC’s time-honored pest management company, acquires MosquitoXpress—a local veteran-owned mosquito and tick control company that services the Central VA region.


With over 40 years of pest control experience, MosquitoXpress has worked to eliminate outdoor pests in the safest and least intrusive way possible by offering barrier sprays, natural alternatives, and special event services for mosquitoes and ticks.

Kevin Poland—President of American Pest—expressed excitement for the addition when stating, “There are so many opportunities for both their customers and our pest professionals to be able to offer additional pest protection solutions to the Central Virginia region.”

The acquisition of MosquitoXpress marks American Pest’s 16th acquisition since 2016.
